System Logs and Data Collection
The Early College Lowell App collects common cookie, visitor, and usage data This anonymous data is used to generate User statistics that help Lowell High School and Middlesex Community College understand how the app is being used by its students and families so that its features and functionality can be updated and improved over time. To operate and maintain the Early College Lowell Mobile App, the app may collect files (system logs) that record interactions between Users and the app, as well as other forms of anonymous data required to operate specific features and functionality, such as IP addresses, device types, or operating systems. The app may also collect activity information and analytics data, such as how often Users open the app, keep the app open, view push notifications, visit certain pages, or utilize certain features and functionality, and it may utilize embedded mobile analytics software to help Lowell High School and Middlesex Community College better understand how Users interact with the app and its features and functionality. The retention of User activity logs and activity data is used to generate User statistics, enable specific functionality, or allow Lowell High School and Middlesex Community College staff members to better understand how the application is being used by Lowell students and families. The retention of anonymous user activity data is only kept for as long as is necessary to maintain accurate systems logs and enable mobile analytics functionality.

The Early College Lowell App features a one-way contact form that enables users to send a message to Early College Lowell staff members. Users who decide to use this functionality will need to enter an email address. Entering an email address into the system is optional and voluntary, and Users are not required to enter an email address to use the app. If Users have any concerns about sharing their email address, they should not use the one-way contact form embedded in the app. Instead, Users should contact the Early College Lowell program staff directly via email or phone.
Push Notifications
The Early College Lowell App may ask Users if they want to receive push notifications, and Users may need to opt in to receive these notifications using the system settings on their mobile device. If Users no longer want to receive push notifications, they can be turned off using the system settings on the User’s mobile device.

While Goodbarber collects personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers from its customers, Goodbarber does not collect this kind of personally identifiable information from Early College Lowell App End-Users.
